Amazing.

This is honestly an amazing start, I love how everything feels like the time of games you were trying to make it feel like. From polygonal characters to that spy theme. The controls are pretty horrible, however I understand why you made that decision but you could always make it changeable or something. As well as that I would add some polish like bodies not falling into the ground (don't know if that was intended) or just more exciting levels. But I understand that this a demo so I won't criticise it too much. Very fun though, keep it up.

Definitely not a bad game, it's actually a quite good game considering how other games of this type are much, much worse.

But to sum it up:

A classical tile jump game with nice music and good art outside the gameplay with quite underhwelming when jumping. I think it's interesting for the few minutes, however it gets boring pretty quickly, with no goal in the actual game other than collecting points. It was also annoying how hard it was to see the wasps in with the quick jumping in this game.

Overall, a good delivery of a classic format but has a few minor problems which make the game a tad underwhelming for my taste.

To be completely honest, this game has more bad than good, it has a nice message and the graphics are eye pleasing but the animation and the amount of bugs is completely horrendous. Animation as I have said, bugs out when you go right and click left which causes you to start moonwalking as Ultr4-JV has pointed out, and overall it's not that pretty with the character's limbs staying in the same place while jumping. Oh now the bugs are incoming, firstly the jump button just tends to ignore me causing me to die when I really didn't deserve it, secondly when I walk into a wall my character just shakes a lot instead of stopping, so fix that please. This game is not definitely really bad as it carries a nice message but you could probably make it more interesting.

This game is really regular, I don't find it either interesting or too new:: The idea is recycled from mobile games and it's monotonous. It's good for killing about 10 minutes at most I'd say. This is nothing much than an overused concept and there is not much to improve in it as it's not a bad execution. I will give the slight things that annoy me a little bit though:

-The levels end with nothing saying that you completed it.

I actually found it confusing at first, and thought I'm restaring the level. The only thing that gave it away was the different layout. You could change it so maybe there's the number of the current level on the start of it.

-No point system (in the leveling mode)
This is what a lot of new developers don't include in their games and it is understandable when the game has story or some goal you need to accomplish (apart from completing the game). But I'm not having fun because once I complete a level that's it, I can't do better or anything . So please ALWAYS include point system if your game has no clear goal or story as it keeps the player playing. Even stars for time would be all right.

-(Really small issue, not important) The rocket is not a rocket, it's a triangle. I was promised rockets my dear sir

Okay, here goes...

This game is just overall confusing, the colours are vibrant and it's easy to distinguish spikes between other things, which is a good thing, but I don't actually see any other positive things about this game. The negatives though, gee there is so many but I will talk about all of them: Firstly the spike algorithm is broken, sometimes you get two spikes on the bottom and on the top which makes it literally impossible to pass without losing, Secondly the restarting system is confusing as hell because instead of the game teleporting you to the start which would be a normal thing it just restarts the game as it is so every time you want to restart you have to move back to the beginning or just a place where there's no spikes. It's just frustrating to be honest. Thirdly the text behind the game is a bad bad idea, why didn't you just use the black space that is huge in this game? It would've been clearer the text moving behind the actual game is hard to distinguish and to read the whole thing you need to wait for it to loop a few times. Therefore, in shortened version, how you could improve the game:

- Move the text in the back to the black spaces above and below the screen, it will make it clearer and less annoying to read

-Fix your spike algorithm, it's broken.

-Make the restarting button teleport the player to the start and say something like "Click any button to start the game" that would prepare the player for whatever is coming and would just be nice overall.

- I haven't actually included it in what's wrong with the game but while I'm here I'll just say that there is no score, you should add one. A sense of achievement for the player makes him more interested and likely to play more.

You could also refine the game by:

-Making the animation smoother

- change spikes so they don't look like a pile of squares (unless you were going for pixel art, but it seems like you tried to make it minimalistic) You should do the same with text.

This game was done badly, but just because it was, don't give up! You can take the criticism and do better next time!

I should clarify that the "Black space" isnt really there.... the game is 64 x 512 so the black is just filler made by Newgrounds. I have talked about the R thing, Restarting the whole game seemed like a normal thing to and I wasn't feeling normal, which why i ended up with a broken system. and yes it is Pixel art, everything is 32x32. and The text could scroll more smoothly, but again i did that on purpose... And the reason i ask for feedback is because i will make a updated version will more in it. Please PM me for anymore ideas THANK YOU!!

This game has potential, definitel,y as a succesful game but unfortunately I don't think it's even fun at this point.

Firstly, the loss after two misses is an EXTEREMELY harsh rule considering that the game's difficulty is really hard even when it starts, and when talking about difficulty I should probably also inform you that game should have an escalating one, and not start at a near impossible level and never escalates. Secondly, the game suddenly throws you in and doesn't tell you what to do at all. As Exedor said at least a "Ready?" message would improve the game immensely. The game also lacks a sense of progress: the points are the only thing that provide that and it's only slight, this makes the game boring as you can't really achieve anything.

There is only one positive thing about this game which is the graphics which are extremely nice but you could try to expand a bit so the whole screen is the house maybe? The black screen in the 70% of the game and seems kinda neglected..

Extremely simple concept with well, quite bad graphics as everything is asymmetrical and it seems to be drawn with the brush tool on Microsoft Paint. The controls themselves aren't bad but the character moves so fast it's hard to control them without driving into a pumpkin. It's also a really hard game which sometimes leaves you with truly a situation with no way out as the bullets are above you, behind you and the pumpkins are in every free space that's left, truly too much bullets. The fact that the game restarts completely every time you die is also really annoying.

To improve firstly try to make your art symmetrical or at least use more curved edges: use the line tool! don't be shy because now everything looks like a mess. Try to make the character just this little bit slower and make the bullets either slower or make the fire rate of the pumpkins slower as to avoid getting stuck. I would also suggest using chaos00177's idea and instead of 5 lives give us a health bar: that will make the game less annoying and more probable for the players to reach the end.

Very nice game: with it's minimalist graphics it's eye pleasing and the colour palette is well chosen.
The controls are comfortable for what they were designed for (phones) and overall it's pretty fun when it lasts.

The only things I would complain about would be the difficulty of the game which is really easy to a point and then it suddenly spikes up - please make it escalate and the shitty "download in the appstore" icons on the bottom which look genuinely ugly and kinda destroy the look. What I would suggest is either completely removing them or just make custom icons with your minimalist style. Very good job on the rest though, keep it up!

It's a good job as in terms of it does it's job very well: just a simple quiz.

However I feel like it could be vastly improved, things like image quality, the fact that capitals dots and others don't work. It's quite annoying so it took me about 15 seconds to find out that I have to write dva instead of "D.va"or "DVa" although it's good as a first project.

I advise you update it, that would probably grab more attention and better ratings. You're heading in the right direction though.
